The HoneyRose Foundation
The Honeyrose Foundation would like to apologise but at the moment we are unable to receive anymore applications due to a shortage of funds. All applications that are currently in our possesion are being worked through and will be completed. We are working everyday to try to raise enough money to continue to provide our service and hope to be able to continue our work shortly.
Our mission is simple......
"To provide a memorable day for people who are suffering from a terminal illness. To give them a special day or weekend to remember and enjoy."
The HoneyRose foundation is a registered charity dedicated to raising money and organising special days for terminally ill people above 40 years old.
"Our lives are like the course of the sun. At the darkest moment there is the promise of daylight." London Time editorial, Dec 24, 1984
The charity was set up in memory of 3 special people...
Three friends of Lynn Duffy (Founder) all died of a terminal illness. Nicola Honey passed away aged 21 of a rare ovarian cancer, Karen White was 27 when she lost her battle with a brain tumor and Rose Clark fought lung cancer until she was aged 57. This is their legacy.
If you want to know more, apply for a special day, donate to the Foundation, or even raise money in your own way, please read on or contact us on the links above.
